Dr Gareth Ngan
A 1995 graduate from the University of Otago, Gareth has owned Eastcare Dental since 1999.
Gareth aims to provide a high level of dental treatment to enhance the quality of life of his patients in a caring and informative manner.
He is committed to helping patients keep their teeth for life, and has special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and endodontics.
Gareth is highly skilled in oral surgery and is certified to provide IV sedation.

Dr Alan Tan
Alan graduated in 2005 from the Otago university and has been practicing in Auckland ever since.
Born in Malaysia, he is fluent in english, malay and mandarin and is known to be an excellent communicator. He is known to go out of his way to make patients feel welcome and comfortable in the dental setting.
Outside dentistry, his interests are playing badminton, running and keeping up with the latest technology.
Dr Howard Chao
Howard is a recent graduate from the University of Otago with first class honours and was also the recipient of the Gold Medal in clinical dentistry.
He has a special interest in emergency and relief of pain management as well as all aspects of restorative dentistry and oral surgery.
Previously a Howick College student, Howard is excited to be working in the community which he grew up in. Born in Taiwan, Howard is fluent in English, Mandarin and speaks some Cantonese. He is dedicated to understanding every patients' needs and concerns.
Outside dentistry, Howard enjoys sports, music and loves trying new and exotic cuisine.
Dr Isla Melton
Isla is a 2008 graduate from the University of Otago. After graduation, she worked as a dental house surgeon at Christchurch Hospital.
In 2010 she moved to Australia where she worked in both the public and private sector.
Isla enjoys all aspects of dentistry and keeps up-to-date with all the latest research and technology by reading articles and attending courses.
Outside of work she likes to keep fit by jogging and enjoys exploring Auckland.
